Lohse the writer

Lohse was an artifex doctus, an educated artist, whose understanding of history and art history would have put many a university professor to shame. Yet his education was not a matter of academic abstract knowledge, but rather acquired and imbued with his own experience as an artist and political person. Hence Lohse's theoretical analysis and thinking always bear witness to his own actions.
